We spent 18 months completely remodeling 849 N. Washington Street. It was taken down to the studs, and rebuilt with high end finishes and attention to original detail. All common walls, floors and ceilings were insulated with sound deadening material. Kitchens were outfitted with stainless appliances (including dishwashers), quartz counters, and soft close cabinets. The bathrooms include custom tile with marble accents, and quartz-topped vanities. Most bathrooms also include soaking tubs. 849 Washington is at the heart of Capitol Hill – a few short blocks from the retail center at 9th and Corona (which includes a large grocery store, coffee houses, restaurants and shops), and a few blocks (in the opposite direction) to the 6th avenue corridor. The 6th Avenue and 8th Avenue corridors also offer quick access to the freeway system – and quick access to the mountains. There are 5 parking spaces off of the alley. Two of the five are tandem spaces, and these are reserved/assigned. The three others are first come, first serve. Permits are available at an additional parking lot a block and a half away (at 9th Avenue and Logan Street).
